Projects
In power systems, voltage drops can affect voltage sensitive equipment such as contactors, lighting and thyristor drives. If voltage drops too low while starting a motor, the motor will overheat before it reaches rated speed.

A voltage regulation study is performed to determine:

     1.   Voltage regulation due to impact loads or starting large
           motors and

      2.   Corrective measures if the voltage magnitudes are out
           of desired operating ranges.
